It's been quite some time since my last blog post, as it has been a busy last thirty days. For me, a change in work environment is a great circumstance to actually have especially if you want the opportunity to grow more. Speaking of work, here are ten tips I just learned to use to deflect negative energies at work:
- If you are an empath like me, you can easily pick up on other's energies. If you drink water, add an intention or prayer, to shield you from any outside energies that may have been absorbed by the water. Adding an intention could also set the tone of what you would like to manifest in your work day.
- Strengthen your aura with the foods you eat. For instance, I learned that by eating protein, you can set a physical boundary with other's negative energies. Red meat, nuts and legumes or root vegetables if you're plant-based.
- Taking magnesium can relieve tension according to the book, "Energetic Boundaries" by Cyndi Dale. So when tension is relieved, you are more calm at the workplace and are more able to decipher who to avoid or how to deter from other's negative energies.
- Wear comfortable clothing so that you are able to move about throughout your day without feeling constricted. Especially if you usually go for short fifteen minute walks. I had no idea these colors of clothing can make a difference in your day! For instance, if you want to deflect other's energies, wear red. To feel more grounded, wear earth tone colors. Ever have that one co-worker that passes on their work to you? Wear gray or black to avoid conflict. In Feng Shui purple is the color of success! So wear purple more often. Especially for interviews, wear the colors pink, yellow or blue.
- Just breathe. Exhale to release old energies and inhale to bring in new positive energy.
- Add obsidian or hematite for energy protection in your workspace. As a newbie, I have one at my desk, to deflect any dark or negative issues at work.
- Nurturing a plant at work can help give you a positive attitude.
- Declutter your workspace of any no longer used supplies or equipment and shred or purge old paperwork.
- This is important: to attract professional abundance, place red or purple objects in the southeast corner of your office.
- Add a triangular object to your office for a burst of creativity.
Thank you so much for reading!
